Beautifully circa 1880's aged glass tankard with  design thumb hold. Bubble glass design with pewter lid  engraved Leo Ehlert and Initials HE. Most likely a gift from wife to husband.  Kind of a remembrance for Leo as he tipped his glass of beer. The heavy glass itself is marked by it's maker  E. Bartholdt.  Great piece for any collection or for that primitive display.
