Very Decorated 1700's Barrel Latch
Part Number TBL-01-009ED
Rustic barrel latch.  Very Ornate engaved design of squares and criss cross and small flowers on top, the latch ends are circles with cresent moon type design and engraved flowers in smaller circles with rolled metal ends.  A barrel bolt is the designated timber or metal bar which secures the draft doors at the front of larger drums against the pressure exerted by the liquid inside   The draft door is used to empty barrel and cleaned.
