Circa 1780's pewter deep dish sauce boat with lions beautiful crown over rose touch mark with the initials RP in side which denotes the dutch or Flemish master pewter er R. Pompe Sr. and would place this piece in the latter 18th century. Very heavy unique item with two handle and two pouring spouts. One of the cleanest touch marks I have seen in quite sometime. Fantastic rare piece for any 18th century pewter collection.
