Very old miniature hand painted storage trunk or chest. Fantastic miniature hand painted wooden trunk. Made to mimic larger painted German type travel and storage trunks of the 17-1800's. This one has exterior painting along with a full exterior paint of floral design. The trunk has a key and locking mechanism. The inside also has a built in storage box with cover which is also painted to design. Gold gilt corners with dark blue background, this is truly a piece that you will treasure for a very long time.
