Great hand made chair with hand carved legs and oak leaves and acorns and the initials CR. The wording on the seat with our best German translation is Frohlich sits here to rest after standing 1943. That being said, it is truly a stunning chair with a truly primitive design. This classical design primitive will look grand in any setting, formal, primitive etc.
