Circa 1800's heavy right handed Wheelwright's axe. This is heavy cooper's type axe with two fine Celtic Arc's, nine asterisks and Maker's Mark (AT) surround by the symbol for the sun. Great display piece and handle is tight and sound but has a crack on one side. The axe was possibly repaired in the past but is sound and in fine shape. Check out our many other axes and adzes as we continue to add from a large collection.
Axe has a 6.5" cutting blade and a 10.25" handle.
