Fantastic 1700's engraved dutch pewter porringer. This German porringer is rather large right at 8.5" inches round, three maker's mark on back of a German maker . Very ornate porringer with what looks to read Englische Zinn un the maker's mark of a man holding scales. This is truly is an original piece and our best translation is "Eat and Drink Goddess Evergiss". Whether exclusive or small production piece this is a fantastic primitive wall hanging or display. Has a small crack at the handhold area.
