Circa 1700's pewter deep dish plate or bowl with lions touch marks. There are a couple of maker's marks, but only partials though some of the letters are "ourt sh". The piece also has a definite maker's mark Maxwell and engraved letters A-R M-Y. It is in very nice worn aged condition and definitely hand hammered. Would make a great display item. Extremely large and hard to find pewter platter.
