Circa 1800's Hand Forged Goosewing Axe.Two nice maker's marks with additional decorations including celtic arches with solid wood handle. Has a stress mark near one of the dercorations which only shows on the front of the axe. Beautiful example of an early vintage Black Smith decorated axe. Great piece for the office or home wall or private collection.
