Circa 1700's hand crafted wood pegged storage trunk. This is a very old hand carved design storage chest or trunk with a blacksmith forged hasp and eye. It was crafted with hand hewn wood boards and wooden pegged. No way to tell the actual age but all signs point to Circa late 1700's and could be earlier. The trunk has a hand French polished finish and has a wonderful carved design on the outside of the trunk. This piece will display nicely in any decor. Shows signs of use and age - please see pictures.
