Circa 1700's Wrought Iron Spiral Candlesticks on Legs

A museum quality pair of matching spiral candlestick holders. A rarity to find a matched set after almost 300 years. Circa 1700-1730, they are very solid with light surface rust. The pair have a hammered molded drip pan and each have 3 arched legs and carrying hooks. Fantastic rare fully functional pair of 18th century iron candlestick holders and primitive lighting history.
