Circa Early 1800's Hand Crafted and Painted Storage Trunk. This one is nailed, some old square nails and some replacement nails over the years. Gorgeous iron handles. We fell in love with this great painted chest. There are great hand painted tulips on a mustard yellow background and the two young girls are ancient glued and shellac representations of the two girls. Nice hand forged hasp. Looks like it had been altered over the years or put together with used pieces, replaced hinges held by nails some trim pieces changed out or missing. Truly a distinctive one of a kind Primitive Old World Heirloom. Great display piece with a classic old paint look, that will become a conversation piece in your home or place of business.
