Antique Heavy Right Handed Carpenter's Axe

Circa Mid to Late 1800's Right Handed Carpenter's work Axe. This is a large and heavy axe with Maker's Mark 5 Sussmann 39. The axe has a very sharp steel edge. Possible repairs but the marks are only on one side so we suspect these were created during production. Just wanted to note this. Great display piece and handle is tight and sound with a few worm holes. Check out our many other axes and adzes as we continue to add from a large collection.
