Antique HB Henriot Quimper France Bowl in good original condition with some small chips around the rim of the bowl. This bowl has a clear glazing over the colorful hand painted design of a woman picking flowers on the inside bottom of bowl. The bottom is marked "Henriot Quimper France 1016".
Founded in Quimper in 1690, the HB-Henriot Quimper Faience is one of the oldest companies in continuous business in France. Starting with raw clay, the company creates some of the most beautiful pieces of faience in the world. Every piece is still hand-painted (freehand, no transfers or decals).
