Antique Engraved Brass Matchbox Holder

Part Number HPL-08-053E

This is a great example of a primitive early engraved brass matchbox holder with original match striking stone. Has a wonderful design with what look to be a dancing native Indian or Aztec native carved on the two solid sides of the holder. This is a rare hard to find fantastic Old World Heirloom that would look great in any primitive lighting collection. This piece is probably early 1800's but could be older. Great aged patina on heavy brass.
