Antique Barrel Latch with 1852 Engraved On It
Part Number TBL-01-007
Rustic rare barrel latch.  Very Ornate engaved design of criss cross on top, and also the date 1852.  Each end of latch is shaped in the design similar to a three leaf clover.  A barrel bolt is the designated timber or metal bar which secures the draft doors at the front of larger drums against the pressure exerted by the liquid inside   The draft door is used to empty barrel and cleaned.
