Circa late 1700's Antique Blacksmith Forged Long Broad Ax. Right Handed Ax with solid Handle. Ax has a 23" cutting edge. This early to late 18th century antique ax has all the characteristics of a collectors item that will be sure to start many conversations. Maker's mark KD and has old repair, but just a gorgeous piece of black smith history.
Designed as a utilitarian hewing instrument. Shows signs of use and age - please see pictures.
