Circa Early 1700's Antique Blacksmith Forged heavy Long Broad Axe. Right Handed Design, original Handle. Axe has a 24" cutting edge. This early 18th century antique axe has all the characteristics of a collectors item that will be sure to start many conversations. Really nice stamped makers marks "KD".
Designed as a utlitarian hewing instrument, has some surface rust common to axes of this age and a tight original handle.
