SOLD - Circa 1700's Blacksmithed Inglenook Adjustable Cooking Adustable Hanger

THIS ITEM IS SOLD - A master craftman blacksmith worked long hours to create this wonderful wrought iron masterpiece. This wonderful hand forged adjustable Inglenook cooking pot hanger or hook is decorated from the hands of a craftsman. Great black smith forged with unique twist and cutouts which we suspect to be from somewhere in the 1700's or before. This hanger wood be placed in the fireplace and would be raised or lowered depending on the heat of the coals and the cooking temperature of the pot desired. Absolutely a unique piece of primitive Americana or early heritage.
