Circa Late 1700's -1800's hand crafted small size rocking chair (Ma and Pa were smaller back then). Beautiful lacquer finish with hand painted bluebirds, mustard yellow trim and green foliage set this chair off as a beautiful one of a kind creation. Some of the lacquer finish and paint has begun to crackle and looks marvelous. The seat has separated some time back, just ever so slightly on the right side looking directly at the rocker. But this piece has weathered the times and is now up for grabs. This classical Old World Heirloom primitive design will look grand in any setting, but absolutely fabulous in that Timber Frame - or Cabin rustic setting. Size: 35" H x 19.25" W x 24.75" D
